Riders consistently vote our volunteers the best thing about London Edinburgh London. The kindness and generosity of our volunteers helps ordinary people take on and finish this amazing – and amazingly tough – adventure.
London Edinburgh London is only possible thanks to the work of volunteers – volunteers like you. Along the route and at the controls, our volunteers are there all through the event, helping the riders make it to Edinburgh and back to London.
Being a volunteer is hard work. The riders ride night and day for the duration of the event, so we, as volunteers, work round the clock too. But we’re at the heart of the adventure, the challenge and the excitement, helping ordinary people achieve more than they thought possible.
Whether you can help for just one day, or for the whole event, you make a difference. In return we provide:
- Up to £120 in travel expenses.
- Accommodation (this may be in a shared room).
- Hot meals and drinks.
- Two volunteer T-shirts.
- A volunteer goody bag.
- Guaranteed entry to London Edinburgh London 2029.
